Hi there.

I was wondering if you were planning to add a command-line option to minimize the program to the tray on startup (something like /minimized). I start this program every time I start my computer, so this would be a wonderful feature!

Additionally, a way to turn off the splash screen would be great too! Maybe you can just make this option available for registered users of the product? If not in the config (the ideal place), then a command line option of "/nosplash" would be great.

Thanks!

Linxor,

TT&E can be minimized at startup by modifying the properties of the icon being used to start TT&E.  If it is starting at Windows startup, you can modify the properties of the TT&E icon in the Start | Programs | Startup folder.

I will add the splash screen request to the list for consideration in a future release.

Hi Mark,

Actually this doesn't work. If you set the Windows shortcut properties to "run minimized", when TT&E starts up you get the system tray icon (good) but also a taskbar icon (bad). There's seemingly no way to get it not to show on the taskbar when it starts -- even by selecting "Hide when minimized" in Preferences/General.

As you can see from my recent post, I think it'd be great if this was fixed! :-)
