We are currently working on a web version of Timeless Time & Expense.  The long-term goal is to provide a version that can be used on its own, or with the current Windows version of TT&E.  Basically, you could choose one interface for your whole company or decide on per user basis.

Of course, to completely write the web version will take time.  Much of the functionality will only be used by administrators and managers.  If we were to release a basic version, which included the ability to create tasks, track entries and basic reporting, would you be interested in using it?

Here's a little feedback on why I chose "Yes"...

I'm a software consultant, and I use TT for tracking the exact amount of time that I spend on projects with my clients. I generally work at my office, though on occasion, I need to go to client sites to do work, generally on their computers. If there was a way to log into a website from the client's computer, and I could start and stop Timer entries as I performed the work, it would save me the extra hassle of logging my time on a piece of paper and then adding it to TT once I got back to my office.

So, having the web-enabled version work with the standalone app would be great!

I'm in the same situation as the previous poster.  I work from home on some projects and from a main site on others.  I would like to be able to track my time to the same database from anywhere.  I'm a paid-up user, BTW.

I was actually trawling for web2.0 (AJAX) based time trackers but decided to check to see if MAG had anything in the works.  What's the timeline for a basic web-based time tracking functionality, Mark?  I'll probably just switch to one of the AJAX-based ones if some basic functionality isn't coming somewhat soon.

Sorry for the delay.  I didn't see the reply to the poll.

The web version is progressing nicely.  We were hoping for a release by the end of summer, but it looks like early fall is a better estimate.  The web version will be very similar to the current Windows version through the magic of Ajax.

I'm jumping on this poll a little late, but I wanted to make sure that you get my vote.

I do a lot of contract work from my home office, as well as from on the road.  A web based version of the software would be of GREAT VALUE to me.

Timeless Time & Expense Enterprise Web has been released.  It has full functionality, not just a tracking interface.
