Hey Mark,

First of all, thanks for making such a useful software. I installed TTE yesterday, and I like it very much.

However, I do have one gripe. By default, the program launches on Windows startup. I understand this is desirable for most users of TTE, but in my case, it is not so. So, is there a way I can disable it?

If this option isn't present in TTE right now, is there something I can hack in the Windows registry to accomplish what I want?

And if even that is not possible, could you please add this functionality in a future version?

Thanks a lot,
Rohit

Rohit,

Thank you for the kind words.

Yes, you can stop TT&E from launching at startup.  There are two different ways to do this.

1) Re-run the installation.  On the Create Shortcuts screen, uncheck the "Create Startup shortcut" item.

2) Go to the Windows Start | All Programs | Startup program group.  Right-click on the TT&E icon and select Delete.  This will delete the startup shortcut.

Thanks, Mark.

Most developers integrate their software with Windows startup by creating a registry entry. I had become so accostomed to it that I did not even think of looking at Startup program group.

Thanks for doing it the "standard" way!

Regards,
Rohit
