I have been using TT&E for a year now, and have been extremely pleased with it. I keep track of my billable time and expenses for several projects for multiple clients. TT&E makes it so easy to keep track of everything in one place.
However, ocassionally I have to leave the office for business. I would like to keep track of mileage, fuel, and meal expenses while I am on the go with my pocket PC.
At present, I write all this information on a scratch pad, or make a note on my pocket PC. What are the chances of a mobile version of TT&E, with synchronization with my desktop version?

| Thanks for the nice comments. It's always nice to hear. We greatly appreciate your suggestions too. We are exploring a PDA version of the software in the future. But first, we are releasing a new web version that will allow you to track your time via the web. We expect that release to be out in the fall. After that, we will explore the PDA further in conjunction with the development of our 3.0 release. In the meantime, thanks for your patience.

FYI, we did add a mobile interface the Enterprise Web version. It has been tested with Windows Mobile and Smartphones. Because there are so many different mobile devices, we could not test them all. You can try your device at our demo site.

| The changes in my work schedule also means I need to be out of the office severl days a week. I'm currently using the multi user version in the office (and love it). Is it possible to install some version, maybe a single user version, on a usb drive and take it with me during the day? If I could import or transfer the data at the end of the day would be great. It would not be a problem to copy and or reenter if necessary. Many places I go to do not have good internet connections so the web version is not an option. Harlen

Harlen,
We've done a little testing. You can install the personal version on a usb drive. However, TT&E requires that certain common components are installed on the computer. If these are not available, you may have trouble running it from the flash drive. Additionally, you will need to re-enter your registration information.
With version 3.0 we hope to reduce some of the issues running from a usb drive, but it will still require some common components on the computer.
